Clash / Mihomo Subscription Import Failed

Troubleshoot expired URLs, format errors, unreachable sources, and missing nodes when importing a Clash or Mihomo subscription.

Content reviewed: 2026-08-21

Who it is for

Users whose Clash Meta or Mihomo profile URL cannot be fetched, is rejected, or imports without nodes.

Before troubleshooting

  • Confirm the URL comes from a trusted provider
  • Never publish a URL containing credentials
  • Prepare the client log and error text

Troubleshooting steps

  1. 1

Check whether the URL expired, was truncated, or uses a format the client does not support.

  2. 2

Use logs to determine whether the source is reachable; do not confuse network failure with a client parser failure.

  3. 3

Confirm the imported profile is selected, then update its nodes or proxy groups.

  4. 4

If it still fails, share only a redacted error summary with the provider or consult the client’s official issues.

Common issues

The list is empty

The format may be unsupported, the URL may be expired, or the client may not have refreshed the profile.

Do not share the full URL

A subscription URL can contain access credentials; redact domains, parameters, and personal data when asking for help.

Next step

After the profile works, test the normal system proxy before considering TUN mode.
